Also the idea of having Sony creating hardware while Microsoft making software (the internal code of the system, i.e. xbl, etc) doesnt sound so bad o.o.

I don't know about the Home System market but I personally think that Sony will quit doing Handhelds after the PSV fails.(Yes I predict the PSV to fail more than PSP did)

I can actually see the PS3 going on for about 1-2 years after MS next console. I now they won't but not a bad idea

The most likely console to bow this coming generation is the PS Vita. I want both the PSV and 3DS to stay in and put a stand against smartphones.

Not next gen, they're all pretty much set in stone. I do though think that if Sony has another generation like this one they will back out of the war.
