This time last year they said over 50m sold, and it shipped 50.8m.

They've said 66m+ this year and asked IGN to clarify their article to sold. So perhaps we'll see 66.8 or something

After adjustments VGC showed 50.3m sold... 50.9m shipped... 600k on shelves with supply constrained.

Do you thing the same "supply constrained" happened this year???

thats alot of X-box's

time to adjust sales for the 2012 thread at least for the X-box, im thinking around 16M, which would give MS a good chance of hitting 100m before its off the market. So with my beliefs end of 2012 should be at 82M leaving 18M for the rest of its life time, then 8-10 2013 and the rest after that i think its possible actually i believe its possible, time to make another i believe thread!

Was 50.8m actually, they must have added on that 0.1m they did to every Q after that (mid 10)

But until we get shipments numbers it's all guessing.

66.1m sold to consumers and 66.9 shipped, looks perfectly reasonable to me.

If we confirm he was talking about 66m sold to consumers, why does the shipped gap have to be in the 66 range again? it could be 67.2.

15 million shipped in 2011 is incredible. I almost can't believe it. I thought it was going to be 13 million or 13.5 million tops. I am sad that I have to eat crow for saying VGC had it overtracked but I am happy the Xbox360 is so successful.

Why? Slimebeast is always underpredicting the 360. He's not disingenius like some people around here though, so no need to doubt him.
