I prefer my GameCube if ever so slightly. However, that being said, I believe that Ps3 will overtake it eventually.

Gamecube: Skies of Arcadia Legends
Playstation 3: Duke Nukem Forever

it is perfectly legitimate, a mod unbanned me and gave me a chance. i am trying to make the most of it too. no more acting up and causing trouble.

ok so you are basically pointing out what the console can do, which i guess has a place in the argument. but if you use that logic, then you are always going to end up with current gen consoles being better than previous ones based off of technology alone.

when talking about something like this, i think it is implied that we are strictly talking games here. for instance, do you prefer paper mario, pikmin, zelda? or uncharted, god of war, lbp perhaps? in terms of the games i think nintendo has it on lock with gamecube over ps3 (my opinion of course). if you look at a 'top games of all time' list, youre most likely to see gamecube games higher up there than ps3 games, and that speaks volumes. just throwin that out there.

the bolded statements, i think we could look at those as objectively as possible and agree that they are true. however, i do think its quite telling that nintendo's darkest period still beats out sony's best when it comes to first party titles. again, i will reference the fact that a lot of first party gamecube games are already considered classics, they have held their value, and they are always going to be higher on a top 100 games list above ps3 exlusives.

but honestly, lol, anybody can have any opinion they want, thats fine, but you have crossed a line. claiming that sony has the most innovative game studio on the planet. dude, little big planet is probably your best case, but its still just a side scrolling platformer. come on. heavy rain? the interactive movie? i dont want to compare it to the types of games that the sega cd had but... well, let me just say im glad that every game on the ps3 is not like that lol. infamous? no comment. killzone wow. yeah your standard fps war game. killzone is by far your weakest example. come on dude, that just makes you look desparate. god of war is great, dont get me wrong, but we are talking innovative here. uncharted, even though it is one of the best games this gen, has still been done a million times over. uncharted may have perfected what has been done before, but that IS NOT innovation.

more specifically though, id say that although gamecube has some third party gems that are up there with some of ps3's best third party games, the fact is that ps3 has so many more good to amazing third party games.

but in the event that you are being honest in your misunderstanding of my post, i will inform you: i am not trying to get him to think gamecube is better than ps3. i am trying to get him to understand that there are a great many people out there who believe gamecube is better than the ps3. if he understands this, that is opening his mind to the fact that maybe gamecube isnt the piece of crap he thought it was.

when you are comparing which console is better, its always about games. if you are talking about who won a console war, its strictly sales. i dont know how youre confusing the two.
