So, those of us with mobile devices have all stated how it kinda sucks that we cannot qoute, edit, or basically any action that requires the use of VGC's "Rich Text Editor". Simply put, the mobile browsers just didn't work with that editor, while it worked fine with the quick reply box.

However, yesterday I figured out how to do so with my Android phone, which means I know it will work with any Android based device/browser (inluding kindle fire). I cannot say if it will work with iOS or WP7 do to not having these low-end devices. ;) I will have to wait for others to comment if this will work for them.

The secret it to use the blue "HTML" option in the Rich Text Editor's tools. This opens a new window in your browser that is a normal text entry. Yes, you may have to know a little bit about HTML (i.e. most commonly using the <p> and <br> tags), but that should be a easy thing to get past for the sake of being able to at least qoute someone or edit your posts.

Wow, sucks that it is such a pain in ass but at least you explained how the pros do it. I just got an android which is my first phone upgrade in awhile. In the process of porting my old number over so everything is all messed up now.

I suggest turning Javascript off on your phone. Pages load much faster. But like Superchunck said, you have to use tags. To perfrom a line break you must type (ignore the periods):

I've placed a period between each space so that it would show up when I press reply and it would convert itself into a page break.

EDIT: Just as I thought. The tags didn't show up. Oh well, figure it out yourselves.
