If you are going to make a thread , ask the question properly.

Something like, "based on the current state of Sony, MS and Nintendo, which of the three companies do you think would be the most likely to leave the industry in the future?"

I'm just saying, y'know, if  you're gonna make a thread like this, don't half ass it.  Especially when the question was given so much better in the  GAF thread!

I Dont think it was necessary to make 3-4 paragraphs asking a simple and rather striaght forward question such as this one. And I dont "Half ass" my threads. I just thought i would rather be striaght forward in asking the question. (Sorry for you misunderstanding)

It has to be Sony, with the Vita so far not doing good and Microsoft/Nintendo having great sales (even though Sony did good this year.) Sony doesn't even really develop their own games and they seem to think they can price their consoles at the highest of prices. It would be sad to see Sony go though, I would rather it be Microsoft. (gaming wise.)

if the yen doesnt improve then sony will make less of a profit. Also gaming division might have made less of a profit or loss recently because of R&D of the PSV and maybe just maybe R&D of the PS4 which should make them profit in the long run like PS3 eventually will

The whole company is doing horrible. Their latest gaming system, PSVita, is doing terrible, and they're selling it at a loss. I don't know why Sony keeps selling systems at a loss, but I guess it's another one of those 'make a profit in ten years' plan. They really can't afford to drop the price, but it might be their only option at this point to bring up sales.

Vita currently has no system sellers, and it doesn't look like it'll get one anytime soon. Monster Hunter, which was one of the biggest series for the PSP, is coming out for the 3DS; sure, MH4 might come out for the Vita a few months after the 3DS version has been released, but many who were looking forward to MH4 may have already bought the 3DS version. Also, many of the Vita's popular games are also on the PS3 (a system that is cheaper and has a way better library than the Vita). Sony really dropped the ball with the Vita.
