its cause the frame is miniscule
we are used to seeing TV frame and we concentrate on the TV hardware and not whats coming on it
this makes oyu totally conencted to what going on the screen
I was going to get a 3d tv but I think Im gonna wait for this bad bo to come out!!

It looks terrible. A frame is important to not make the experience too confusing with surrounding objects.
Cool, but is this in the wrong spot?
Go Team Venture! I still don't get the Wii, PS Move, and Kinect.

The actual product likely won't be quite so tiny. Right now, they're probably just showcasing their tech - make it look as slim and sleek as possible to make it stand out. I expect they'll throw a 1cm frame on the TV, particularly so they can have buttons on the side and a speaker as well.
Nonetheless, see how thin they are, too? Only about a 1/4-inch thick. You could probably hang 'em on the wall with a couple nails like a picture frame or something. I wouldn't want to DO that - I'd probably hang it on screws anchored into studs or something - but imagine the possibilities! Run the input and power cords through the wall and the dang thing actually looks LIKE a poster on the wall. *drools.*

As Basilzero said it blends in too much with the background there and the different colours and objects next to the TV. For all the advance in immersion this proposes it basically crushes that immersion because of the issues I mentioned.
This technology may be good, it may be must buy worthy. However that image in the OP does it no justice.
I also just noticed the clarity of the picture on the right. We're seeing it from a super extreme angle, but it's still as clear and crisp as if we're seeing it head-on.
I need an OLED TV naow plz.
