You guys are bastards.
FF, you're dead. etc etc
Timmy picked his nose, stuck the booger under the fresh linens.

Day 3 begin, etc. etc.

Okay, we've got to kill someone today- and we've got to make it quick. I hate to sound really mafia-like by pushing for a lynch, but we can't afford to make many more mistakes.

lawls at prof posting day flavor in the sign-up thread as well.

Was going to tell FF no biggie for not coming around, but I can still tell Baal to relax about all of the timing stuff this round. It's a practice round, essentially trying to give the newer guys more experience.

I want to say, extend the hours prof, but heck, this was proposed as a speed/practice game.

Anyways. I agree with vette (yesterday) that Wonk's vote was kinda scummy. It reminds of that game when him and F-F were scum and rushed lynches on several occasions.

But then, I'm also frustrated with the amount of lurkers in this game. Bored vanil'? I wouldn't be surprised, but I would also assume there is at least one true scum lurker among MDJ, Noctis, and Moreno.

I'm reminded of how much I hate lurkers. I'm also reminded that players usually lose interest in the game when they are vanil'. I say to you: Fuck You! You knew what you were signing up for and you don't deserve to play in future games if a vanil' role turns you off. Take me for example, I've been rolling town roles for as long as I can remember and I still contribute as much as I can. Who needs a power role when you're smart enough to play without them? If anything, it just goes to show the true players from the sucky players who rely on flavor/roles instead of wits.

Honestly, if the 3 big lurkers flip town, they don't deserve to play in future games. I don't want players who can't appreciate the brilliant role of the vanil' pro town.

Well, I'm going to go out on a limb, and vote for Spurge.

Vote: Spurge

He puts a vote on Stefl yesterday, but then assures us that wasn't his target last night as the supposed vigilante. So who the hell did he target? Somebody completely random? Something about that seems a little fishy.

There just happens to have only been one kill yesterday. Whether it was from the lynch or a night kill, we don't know, but that would indicate whoever Spurge did target was either protected or something else such as a player being bussed occurred. I don't like coming out with crazy theories involving a busser, because the simple truth is that they are not very common (on Vgchartz anyways).

I would have thought that a doctor would have seen a vigilante as an important role, and hence protected that player. That would mean that Spurge was protected, not whomever Spurge targeted.

We are left with Spurge being blocked. While I have slight thoughts that a town oriented roleblocker could see reason in blocking a vigilante on night 1, I have my doubts. This would leave a mafia roleblocker in this particular instance. No offense to Spurge, but I think it would be in the mafia's best interest to let him be on night 1 as a vigilante. There is so little info from night 1 in this game that the shot would be more or less completely random, giving the mafia good odds that a townie will be taken out.

What I am getting to is this. I think if Spurge is indeed a vigilante, then he targeted Stefl last night. Why he wouldn't admit to this, I have no clue. Not just this, but I REALLY don't think Spurge as a town oriented vigilante is necessarily a good thing for the town. Vigilante is a very powerful role, and for somebody who has only played one game, it is quite the weight to be carrying on your back.

In other words, if he is indeed a vigilante, I'm not so certain it isn't in our best interest to vote him out, to eliminate the risk that his night kills will present, not to mention I still have a feeling he may be mafia. Others may completely disagree, I just have a really hard time not getting worried when you have a vigilante who may very well be picking a target out of a hat every single night.

Why are you assuming Spurge had to target anyone at all? Most vigilantes aren't forced to kill.

What makes you think he's mafia rather than a vig?

If he is vig, don't you think it'd be better to coach him into using any shots he has on shadier players? Lynching him to remove the threat of an additional town night kill is simply a terrible idea. You're giving up the chance of lynching scum during the day instead.

I think you're really just scared of being shot by Spurge, which would be a nulltell given nobody really wants to die. Except that it means you're more inclined to believe the claim, which scum is far more likely to do.

This post sounds horrible, but I'll agree with you. I always think it's important to lynch somone. And given the time contraints, it does have to be quick. Finally, more mistakes means mafia will win. You've stated a lot of the obvious. However, I think you openly admitting to worrying about your appearance is a towntell for you, so at least there's that.

Why do we got to kill someone? There are already two people killed. And one was town. Have not checked to see what final fan was.

For completeness, did you shoot FF last night? If not, did you target someone else? And if not, why not target anyone?

If you really are vig, then you might be able to take out scum with a shot, but I don't think you have enough shots to take out the entire mafia team. Thus like any game of Mafia, we are going to have to lynch them at some point.

Did you not realize Vette was lynched yesterday?
