I don't mind being rewarded with a hard mode (meaning that the mode is unlockable) but i'd like something more to go along with it. Luigi in Mario Galaxy was a tremendous reward

Wait, are you talking about the special worlds of Super Mario 3D Land? Yeah, they're totally worth it. They're more different than you think, and twist the world around in more interesting ways than just being "harder."

Does getting all 120 Energy Spheres in Kirby Ex-Mode give you anything other than personal satisfaction?
