The USA pre-order charts suggest that the PS3 version of this game has around 75,000 pre-orders waiting in the wings, even with this indefinite delay to a frankly shoddy release.
I do hope that 2.0 can rake in enough good will - and profits - to at least let them break even.

I have been wondering about 2.0 but I can't get myself to buy it just for that. Maybe will get it if everyone starts saying it is awesome after the update.
I got back on it about a month ago, it is an awesome game, but I also liked it back when it came out. Riding a chocobo was a nice new feature. I unsubscribed for now though, but it looks like 2.0 will have tons of new features.
