Japanese blogger Mirian, who runs Xbox 360-centric blog Hakomaru Purasu+ (はこまるぷらす＋), opened an Xbox 360-centric retail shop called Game Shop Clarith.

It's still open, though. Can't be doing that badly. And who knows. Maybe that lonely game store will end up in a crazy situation where it has to live with three crazy female game stores in a small apartment and it has to choose which one it loves the most.

Upon closer examination, I see DS, PSP, and Wii software there, too.

Oh! This is just for people who own 360's. With many stores shrinking there 360 shelf space, people who like the 360 in Japan can just got to this store and buy games instead of having to import. Not a bad idea, really. Hope it's in a good location or they have a really good delivery system set up.

Wow how long was it open? (Effort to click the link) If so, surprised it hasn't bankrupted yet, would be tough break even let alone make profit judging by the rate 360 userbase is growing in Japan.

360 userbase is low....but it is niche popular. I hear their fans are really dedicated despite little in numbers. Meh, gen over gen improvement either way.

Well if he opened it up in a big busy city he has a fighting chance because I'm sure there will be at least a 10 dedicated 360 fans within 20 miles. Anywhere else though is probably suicidal.
