Colors! Nintendo has already released a bunch of 3DS systems in different colors! If you go to Amazon Japan there's like 5 3DS systems in different colors in the Top 10! What do you guys think? 

I have been watching amazon in japan for a while and noticed that too, but it's the top 20 not the top 10.

Sure,now to reach 100 millions units,they just need to release about......200 colour types.

Why do they ever need mario or monster hunter in the first place?

I think it's a good thing.
The more colors the better. This way most people can find a color they like.
And some collectors have to buy all, so it's good for Nintendo, too. :P

Christmas?

Christmas, mario kart, super mario 3d, are probably the biggest factors first and foremost. I think colors are an important behind-the-scenes sales factor but lets not overlook the obvious

yes they should stop making games and make colors instead. i mean i buy systems for colors i mean who needs games right?

games have nothing to do with it at all...

Like most people think it's probably because of Christmas sales. It could be the colours though, some people might have just been waiting for a colour they like to buy, but I don't really think that's the case. It's probably because some key games came out and it's Christmas Season.

I would pin the recent success down to the triumvirate of MH3G, MK7 and SM3DLand myself, but more colours always are a good thing

Hopefully the Wii U releases in both white and black .
