Searched for a R3 thread, coudn't find it. So quich question about the Resistance 3 Demo iron sights Move Controlls:

Why the f@#& is it soo moronic? What I menan is that it's not controlled by direct pointing but by pointing to the side to drag the iron sights and pointing back to center to stop dragging. WTF???

Also, I sensed a lot of aim assist in all of it which came in handy, since using the iron sights to be precise (and quick) is not or hardly viable at all.

Is the final game the same? I can't imagine why this would be a solution... Were there options to change this and I just coudn't find them?

Yes, in the final game the sights are exactly like that. You can adjust the settings of the sights however to make it easier - to make the turning (when your sights are pointing to the edge of the screen) faster or slower, and also how close to the edge of the screen the sights are pointing at before turning.

I havent used it but apparently the move works considerably better with the sharpshooter accessory - you might want to try it out if you arent satisfied with the normal move controls.

I don't know if I made myself understood correctly. The normal crosshair control is ok with the Move (the fire from the hip stance), but when you press L1 to switch to Iron Sights, the control is unnatural. Instead of pointing the rifle, you drag it along. Do you know what I mean? It's unnatural.

I played the whole game using move, and I cant remember any problems with the iron sight - if there were any issues, they werent significant enough for me to notice.

I'll give it a rent if I can find it and I'll see if it was me, the demo or both :).
But since you didn't notice anything I have hopes :). Maybe it was my settings. I turned all move settings down. This worked great in crosshair mode, but as I said, not that great in iron sights mode.
