This is old news; the article was posted on the 10th of September. I believe the reason SE did this was so no one uses this name or something. It definitely doesn't suggest that FFXIII-3 is or will be in development.

This is old. SE already said that there is no FFXIII-3 coming, it's just standard procedure to register domains just in case.

They never said that.

An executive that works for Square Enix Japan, but was in Europe at the time of the registration news, was contacted by Square Enix Japan's Radio Blog. They asked him about the domain name and he said he found out about the domain registration online and that the USA branch registered it out of precaution. He never confirmed or denied what the Japanese branch were doing about the domain name and if they were making a FFXIII-3 or not.

Read between the lines, bro. FFXIII-3 is coming.
