"Strongest never wins" Once again, SNES > Genesis says hi :P. |
See the bolded text.

NeoGeo was the system that everyone wanted but couldn't afford.

As for your guys strongest never wins, I can only hope that when the 720 and the PS4 come out that they are stronger than the Wii U! Or the Wii U will not have a chance according to that theory.
OT;
They certainly are at war now aren't they! |
I remember them being something like $600 with no game and the games are at least twice more than any other games.
It's like wanting an arcade system at home.

Man, the Neo Geo cost somewhere between $400 and $650 depending on which version you got8. It was a big deal but take a seat when I tell you this: THE GAMES cost around $250 EACH!!
At the time, their graphical detail blew us away because of how much stuff there was going on onscreen. Now, it just looks like a cluttered mess. Another example of certain art styles are only good for that era while others are totally timeless. Weaker games like Super Mario World look better, now.
The 15 million lead is too steep. While handhelds sell as much as consoles, the PS3 is struggling to overcome the 360s once 8million lead and has brought it down to 3million after 5 years. Imagine the effort it would take from the Vita to catch up to the 12-15 million unit lead the 3DS has. It's just unrealistic.
It would take more than a FFX remake and a new Monster Hunter title combined to reignite popularity in Japan. As for the West, we'll have to wait to see how well Fifa sells in the EU along with CoD in the US.
Hopefully I end up biting my tongue and both platforms have a tighter margin. The disparity now between the two is too great for me to answer anything other than the 3DS. Keep in mind this has nothing to do with my preference between the two devices.
Resident Evil: Revelaltions got a near perfect score on Famitsu!

If the demo is really good, then by all means I'm buying this game day one(the only thing holding me back is the fact I don't like horror games)!
