Karl Rominger, a Carlisle, Pa., lawyer who recently joined the accused child molester's defense team, says Sandusky may have showered with boys to teach them "basic hygiene skills."

"Some of these kids don't have basic hygiene skills," Rominger told WHTM-TV on Tuesday. "Teaching a person to shower at the age of 12 or 14 sounds strange to some people, but people who work with troubled youth will tell you there are a lot of juvenile delinquents and people who are dependent who have to be taught basic life skills like how to put soap on their body."

They're either really smart or really stupid, and oddly i'm erring in favor of the former. There has to be some sort of grand master plan here, between all these idiotic comments and the waiving of the preliminary hearing, there has to be some sort of slam-dunk secret plan

not that this is a good defence for his charges, but he speaks the truth. I run a resteraunt and a lot of the training i do is telling people how to stay clean and healthy so they aren't sick or dirty at work. You know like shower daily before work, brush your teeth, come your hair, cut your hair, shave. Wear clean clothes. Eat breakfast. Sleep. All the stuff their parents shuld be teaching them. Sorry got off topic
