Booooooooo
Lack of vision for the lose <_<
First Castlevania, now Metal Gear.
Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!
Kojima: Come out with Project S already!
I don't really see a problem with the no stealth aspect as it's been said before that Rising will be a new approach; Not that I welcome it. The trailer completely killed my hype for it, not that I had much either. Also, I do see the "downgraded" graphics compared to what they have shown before, not to mention the cheesy voice acting. It's no wonder Kojima himself put this down so much back when Peace Walker was in development.
e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)
I dont see what people are upset about, this isnt an MGS game, its a spin off; it features a character who wasnt that popular anyway, so its not like their ruining are faviourite heros, Snake, The Boss, Grey Fox etc.
it was said this would be 'lightning bolt action' rather than 'tactical espionage action'. i think the gameplay looks impressive, Platinum Games are the best action game developers in the industry, having come from DMC1 to Bayonetta, which is the best action game ever made. this will be like using an enhanced Shubra (Bayonetta), and i'm sure Platinum will deliver on gameplay.
as for the story, it will be awful, its about cyborg ninjas tossing giant robots into the air with a real world context. but this isnt a problem since its not an MGS game. merley a spin off. the dialogue and the voice acting seems pretty poor as well eg "Jacks going to let er rip".
I don't care if it's Metal Gear, as long as it's a Platinum Games game. Is meant to be awesome.
the story looks like it doesn't make sense....... an perfect MGS game :)
It's development sounds pretty bad if it was at one point cancelled, I wonder how long Platinum has been developing already.
There's also some good news: Kamiya is using his time elsewhere :)
