Also, if this becomes standard with PS3 game, then PS3 gamers will become accustomed to it, just like wii owners right now transfer VC games from their SD card to the wii and vice versa.

And again you assume the 5 or so people with PS3s in this thread saying it doesn't bother them are representative of the whole or for that matter representative of people who might buy one in the future. If dodging the issue in such a manner as to naively think this my problem and mine alone, then that is testament in itself to the lack of argument present on your behalf. How pitiful you are to be made to play such a asinine numbers game which you know full well is of no consequence to the larger issue at hand here. You've shocked me with what lows you'll sink to just to defend the PS3, but of course, clearly I'm the only one bothered by this so its not an issue at all. That's how it works. You're good at this reality thing.

If the installation was optional I agree with you but since it isn't I believe it was needed. Hopefully some capcom person can some day clarify which is the case.


 yeah the 5gig is needed for no loading screens during gameplay.

just take UT3 on the PS3, with no file installed load times can be long, but with it installed the load times are drastically minimised to just a few seconds. Perhaps capcom fully optimised the game to run off the hard drive so that no load times would be visable during gameplay as this could have been their vision for the game or something like that.

*sigh* Why do you have to make a mountain out of a molehill? Your creating a problem when one doesn't really exist and I just cannot see this being a factor that will "hurt the appeal of the PS3"
