I think it's just that they didn't want to make the same mistake they made with MHTri.

True but this is a handheld MH they handled both situations backwards.

Who didn't expect this game to sell well? It looks awesome just from looking at the handful of trailers and some gameplay vids that I've seen. I hope it comes stateside in a few months.
