Well I understand the Europeans but a country should not be forced to further integrate into the EU when it goes against its own interest.
The EU is nothing more than a self-serving, power-hungry corrupt group of men in brussels with small penises trying to rule europe. It is a completely unnecessary political organization that has brought no benefits to european countries that they couldn't have done themselves and probably with greater speed. It merely robs individual countries of their sovereignty and national identity in a pathetic attempt to be a USA of Europe. I'm hope it fails utterly and breaks apart. I'm proud to call myself both an Englishmen and a European but I detest the EU. Each country should have control over it's own economy.

I agree on the effects, but I would prefer that to ignoring the problem as is done now. No one's plan includes realistically balancing the budget or paying debts off, so we are just avoiding it until an inevitable forced default of many of these countries months or years down the line.

Well, there is one politician with a plan to balance the US's budget. But, the UK and EU? Nah, we have nothing. It's a shame our politics has turned into voting for a different shade of the same colour.
I wouldnt say he is a coward but imo it was a very ill-advised move. He was facing pressure from his Eurosceptic Conservative Party members to not sign the deal, and on the other hand he was facing pressure from Europes leaders to support the deal. At this stage, we dont really know if this was a great move or not, but London which is the financial capital of Europe, may certainly suffer from Cameron's rejection. I would say the that fortunes of the Conservative Party for the next few years depend on the fallout of this.

Just as not adopting the Euro was the right choice then, not giving up control of budget the budget was the right choice to make now. I think he made the right move.

I think it's more than ideology is gone from politics and all of them will act how they are being paid the most to do and can get away with (usually: abusing expenses, passing lobbied-for legislation, and handing out government contracts to their friends). Their manifestos will have whatever seems popular at the time and then when they get elected they can throw all of that out and do what the previous government did under a new name. The actual problems with the coutry get overlooked because they are actually hard to solve.
This NHS reorganisation, for example. Will cost a lot, inconvenience many people, probably lead to some services being shut down as they are given to private operators, probably will lead to increased costs as private operators demand more to run things. Regardless of whether you are left or right these effects are pretty clear, because they happened for every other reorganisation or part-privatisation of a government service in the UK since the 50s. But will it have any real effect on the structure of the NHS or the nature of the service it provides? Don't think so. At least the "old" Conservatives had a clear plan (dismantle the NHS) and Labour had one (fund the NHS as much as possible) and they both stuck to it.
No matter the specific situation, when a large nation has economic problems, it affects more people than you'd expect due to a domino effect of collapse which is inevitable. Prevention is better than curaga.
lol Curaga.
