Games & devices:
The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav - I just love classic 2D point&click adventure games
The Lost Chronicles of Zerzura - see above
Deponia - see above
Mage's Initiation: Reign of Elements - see above
Fables (based on Bill Willingham's comic books) - see above
King's Quest (Telltale Games' announced continuation of the legendary Sierra On-Line franchise) - see above
Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards (announced HD remake) - and...see above
J.U.L.I.A. - despite loving classic 2D point&click I think a different approach in the graphic adventure genre is interesting and welcome
Lucius - this seems to become a The Omen-style adventure game with a touch of The Shining - which would be great, if true
Botanicula - this looks and sounds incredibly charming and I loved Samorost and Machinarium from the same developer
Journey - this looks and sounds gorgeous and mysterious and I loved Flower from the same developer to death
The Last Guardian, The Last Story, Tales of Graces f, Ni No Kuni - my most wanted "mainstream" console games of 2012
Wii U - it will bring me a Zelda game in HD (well, not in 2012, but in 5 years or so...reason enough to look forward to Nintendo's new console)
Music:
I never know about upcoming music releases, not even from artists I've already been listening to for decades. Music has to be discovered imo and the constant search for old and new music/artists is probably my most satisfying passion. Latest discovery for example: Kate Bush's new album (a bit underwhelming in comparison to her last regular album from 6 years ago, but a surprising, unexpected and welcome release nonetheless - and who would have thought she'd ever do a duet with Elton John).
Movies:
http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=4227343 (I'm not even sure if I'm actually looking forward to these movies as I lost faith in most of the Hollywood and non-Hollywood filmmakers a long time ago, but the 2012 movies I listed in this post are the ones that sound the most interesting to me).
