How about some Chow Yun Fat "gun fu" movies? Hard boiled comes to mind.

"The worst part about these reviews is they are [subjective]--and their scores often depend on how drunk you got the media at a Street Fighter event."  — Mona Hamilton, Capcom Senior VP of Marketing

I'm actually a HongKonger.
Those Kung Fu movies are fading in here
No true martial arts movie anymore, all are movie stunt, special effects

Jet Li claimed that he quitted making action movie
Jackie Chen is now a clown/jerk to us

Donnie Yen has never been really famous here, he was a TV drama actor and made some class-c movies, it surprises me that he make himself a star in US

Karate Kid! LOL

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

i will check out some of those titles, chow yun fat is cool

If you like Chow Yun-Fat, you should also check out The Killer and A Better Tomorrow 1 & 2 in addition to Hard Boiled, for starters.

Also, Tsui Hark directed a movie called Time and Tide that was really cool, a bit more drama than action, but some AMAZING scenes in there. Definitely worth a watch.

Hates Nomura.

The best movie

Is The last Dragon with the shogun of Harlem

Adn Bruce LEE ROY

Hell yeah that movie kicks MAJOR ass, Shonuff.

I'd recommend that one and Kung Fu Hustle.  It's more recent and mainstream, but it's still great.  I'm a huge Bruce Lee fan, I have all his movies and lots of other memorabilia like books, paintings, posters etc.  All his movies are great, but you said you've already seen them.

You haven't seen martial arts comedy until you've seen Fearless Hyena. That is Jackie Chan at his finest.

Seppukuties is like LBP Lite, on crack. Play it already!

Currently wrapped up in: Half Life, Portal, and User Created Source Mods
Games I want: (Wii)Mario Kart, Okami, Bully, Conduit,  No More Heroes 2 (GC) Eternal Darkness, Killer7, (PS2) Ico, God of War1&2, Legacy of Kain: SR2&Defiance

Screw that Hong Kong crap! Lone Wolf and Cub! Lady Snowblood! Unless you're just talking about Kung Fu. I go Kill Bill over anything but the Dragon himself and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Have you seen the Jet Li film 'The Legend' about Fong Sai Yuk? Certainly my favourite martial arts movie, the sequal isn't bad either.

I saw this sequence from a film called 'The Protecter' earlier that I thought was pretty good, mainly because the extremely long steadycam shot is so different from the 1 second long shots normally used in martial arts movies.

I remember someone recommending "The Legend about FSY" to me years ago but I forgot the name. They said it was his best one. I will have to try and find it. Also I believe Jet Li said he would stop making martial arts epics. He said nothing about never making action movies again. However "The Forgotten Kingdom is probably a martial arts epic so I guess he fibbed anyways.

Jet Li' very first movie "Shaolin Temple" is truly martial arts
The others are just eye candy

This one is also a good movie.

Swordsman II
(笑傲江湖之東方不敗 Xiao Ao Jiang Hu Zhih Dong Fan Bu Bai)

Add i found it strange that you guys consider Chow Yun-Fat an action movie star

Yes he made a few gun movies, but he is best known of his love movies and comedy
