Seriously M$ are MIlES ahead of Online services in terms of aiming to provide the whole entertainment package. Nextbox will totally have lots of TV channels, Films, games etc etc all for just $40/year.

It'll be a set top box, App store an games machine. I'm glad my money from Gold is going to good use. Mybe in 2-3 years I can cancell my cable and just pay for Gold each year and have everythig but save money.

AWESOME

A bit optimistic Selnor but I get your point. I am actually disapointed by the pace of integration and this update although good in many ways is still lacking in many areas especially usability. The TV element needs to work more like TV and the string of Apps approach is not the answer I feel.

Kinect as seen by PS3 owners ...if you can pick at it   ...post it ... Did I mention the 360 was black and Shinny? Keeping Sigs obscure since 2007, Passed by the Sig police 5July10.

Selnor you're like the Microsoft version of Ethomaz! lol

MS are making good strides, next gen I hope they do everything bigger and better (TV, Live and Kinect)

Most of these are useless since they either are just like going to the website and have no real shows (just useless clips) or you have to pay to use it much like netflix.

The only real app i'm looking forward to is youtube out of all of those.

While they're definitely trying, they're still lacking way to far behind in their efforts in most of the EMEAA & AP regions, I mean honestly, out of the 602+ channels I receive on my digital tv box for $80 for all the tv's in the house, Xbox is not offering any...

So I agree with you that they're trying buddy, I disagree that they're miles ahead... MS needs to step up It's game outside of the UK & USA/Americas region

Agreed mate, youtube seems to be the only enticing thing they're currently going to offer.

Hehe.Yeah my post was prettty carried away. But I think you understood my point.:)

It must be hard to try and get the chanells. Essentially they are trying to tak on cable providers etc. Whilst fighting Sony, Nitendo and even Itunes with Zune.

Pretty mammoth undertaking.

As a user of M$ in its totally ( Xbox Live, 360, Zune, WP7 ) They have made huge strides in 2 years. Its feeling much closer to a complete enertainment package all Downloadabl or streamable. Which is what I crave.

:))))
