Option 5:

This gen is almost over, so wait for the PS4 to release and play PS3 exclusives with backward compatibility (pretty much a standard for all consoles now, only PSV is out).

Seriously I had a PS3 for nearly 2 years before, most PS3 exclusives are short single player games, and Heavy Rain....I beat Heavy Rain in 1 sit through for 7 hours. It's a great game, but it's short.

I know you said your not interested in Uncharted, Killzone, and InFamous, so then other then Heavy Rain what else are you excited for? Unless you played and beat Dark Souls and crave more, I'd stick with the 360 for now.

I'd wait to get a PS4 if anything, or get a used PS3 when the PS4 releases (prices will likely crash, used 20, 80, 120, and 160GB PS3's are $150 now).

o_O.Q just compied and pasted one of my posts from an earlier FDD thread, which happened to be a hit & run thread also. He was pretty notorious for making hit & run threads, so I listed some of his past threads for everyone to see. This was a few months ago though, FDD may have changed.

Oh yeah I know about all that, those were hit and run threads. However I didn't really see the relevance of o_O.Q's post seeing as this isn't a hit and run thread.

It could be that FDD is now making hit and stay threads though which are far worse (and unfortunately so much more common) then hit and run threads.


That is true, though I'd say this particular thread isn't all that controversial. It is a little odd though. You shouldn't switch consoles for a 6-8 hour game IMO. No game is that good.

You have obviously not played Pocket Bike Racer.

Yeah dude you might as well. Sounds like you've played everything the 360 has to offer. Only way I'd say to keep the 360 is if you play a lot of games online. PSN is just not as fun as XBL in my experience.

I agree to what Jay520 told U. I don't see much they are almost the same console for who plays 3rd party games, U like 360 Exclusives, and only one PS3 Exclusive, so after U count your lose, was it worth it, this switch, think about before U go, try renting it and get a PS3 from one of your friends and see.

ok op it seems that this isn't one of your hit and run threads so here's what i think you should do. rent a PS3 and HeavyRain. what would be the point of selling your 360 if all you want to play is one game? talk about pointless!

@OP

you want a bluray player and play games. that is fine, ps3 can provide that for you and play games online for free.

now do you have lots of friends with ps3 and xbox360? I'm sure you know if you sell your xbox360 you wont be able to play with your friends on the 360, and on top of that I'm pretty sure you don't want to rebuy all those multiplat games.

just somethings to consider.

Why don't you just watch a bad movie and get it out of your system? Even if you pick a really bad one, the acting will be better and the story won't be as laughable. If you fast forward and rewind a few times, the movie might even be more interactive.

...but selling your 360 to do it? i promise you won't get enough money to make it worth it.
