This gen is almost over and i've had my xbox for about 3 years! i;ve played all the exclusive games like halo, left4dead,fable and gears all of em are great games..

but you see right now i really wanna play Heavy Rain! i love games like that...  i also need a new blu ray player mine broke! :(      so do you think it's worth to swich consoles?

and no i have no interest in god of war, resistance or killzone.... i did play uncharted 2 at my friends house and it was pretty good...  the aiming was kinda bad...  the graphics were amazing though.. so i might get that also..

back to my question, do you think i should sell my xbox and buy a ps3?  the main reason is i need a blu ray player and i really wanna play heavy rain

I trust no one, not even myself.

Yes

I say yes, selling your 360 is very smart, and not financially wastefull at all. I'm going to tell you exactly what to do:

Sell your X360 that you've owned for 3 years. Sell all your exclusives. Sell all your multiplats. Forget about achievements. I know it seems like a waste to get rid of all the games, achievements, friends you've built on the 360, but trust me, this is the most appropriate thing to do. You have to think with your heart, not your brain. And your heart is telling you: You must play Heavy Rain by any means necessary.

Next, Buy a PS3. Buy all of those multiplats again. But don't buy any exclusive, because they suck, except for Heavy Rain. You may be thinking, why buy a a PS3 and all those multiplats all over again? I'll tell you why: for Heavy Rain. After all that effort, you must then buy Heavy Rain, complete it, and cherish every moment of your experience. Finally, after all these years, you've finally realised what it's like to be truly happy.

Six hours later, after you've completed Heavy Rain, I want you to come back online and tell me, tell us all.... Was it worth it? If so, then congratulations, you've made an excellent choice.

If not, then you have quite possibly made the least practical financial decision in the history of consumers everywhere. I'm sorry.

shit man if you're going to attempt to do a thread like this at least put some effort in for pete's sake

If all you want to play is Heavy Rain, borrow your friends PS3 (maybe have to offer him a little money) and rent HR. ...

Buy a used PS3 and Heavy Rain that should cost you less then $200 and keep your 360. If what your profile shows you have on 360 games is true you wouldn't have enough stuff to raise the money to buy a PS3 anyway and you should be able to save the $200 for my plan before this generation is over.

your sig tells me everything i need to know.

no

just buy a PS3 , it's so cheap now.
if you can't afford it, then your avatar explain everything.

Just a heads up besides the online they are virtually the same console........

You've made it quite apparent that you think the 360 has an amazing library in this thread:
