Well it sounds like a Final Fantasy game at least.

I'm curious about the gameplay inside the airship. Planning? inn functionality?Customizing elements? I would like to see a brand new IP honestly.

XIII and XIV have tarnished the brand of Final Fantasy. It either needs to have a blockbuster game released within the next year or two OR they need to pull their teams off of Final Fantasy projects once they are done and give the damn franchise a break.

Kingdoms Hearts 3 imho would be more probable than FF.

Based on my personal opinion I think Square-Enix needs to take a step away from Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts for a couple years. Put those teams on new projects and let them experiment with other teams within the company. Main focus should be on building creativity. Main focus.

I know there are people who are wanting Kingdom Hearts 3 and if it's currently in development then finish it. BUT, after that move that team to something brand new. Take things in different directions and push for new ideas.

First they need to reduce development time imho. After that they can work on diversity.

I completely agree with you on that. Some games have been in development for far too long. Versus XIII should have been out two years ago. Instead of sending more people in to help with the troubled development, like they should have done, they put 40% of the XIII team on XIII-2. I have no idea where the other 60% went.

You lost me there.  We haven't seen a proper Kingdom Hearts game since when?  2005?  2006 maybe?  the portable games don't count.  Not even birth by sleep.  No, we need them to get vsXIII and Kingdom Hearts III out ASAP, then we can call this gen done and move on.  Unless they plan on releasing XV on this gen after the PS4 launches.

There have been several Kingdom Hearts games released over the last few years and they do have another in development for the 3DS. It's time to let both of these franchises rest for a few years. The portable games do count, because they take people from doing other projects and they take resources to make. Just because RE:Coded, 365/2 Days, Birth By Sleep, Dream Drop Distance and RE: Chain of Memories aren't mainline titles don't count towards to many games.

Like I said though, if Kingdom Hearts 3 is in development, then finish it. But it is clearly not a priority of Square's to get KH3 out.

Thats....actually a smart strategy on Sonys part.

Vita/PS3 games will do its part to keep PS3 game intake fresh even as it ages further and when the PS4 comes out.

Vita game sales like the PSP software sales will be offcourse abysmal, but the PS3 version sales might just compensate.

Bravo Sony, bravo.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

innovative and a good move. i see good things in the future from this

You guys are getting too excited for this. It's probably a PSN game made for the Vita and PS3.

I wont expect anything "Exciting" if I were you.... Just like the new PS3 exclusive announced... It wasnt really a "surprise" or unexpected like GTA V as an exclusive...

Yay!!!

I'd think the motive here is bit different

West traditionally doesn't like handhelds Japan is all handhelds now - by making multiplat like this game can sell well in Japan and well in West.
