Maybe it's just be, but I don't think you can judge the speed of proprietary media according to prices of another medium.
I'm quite sure that the Vita cards will be fast, but not that fast.
Probably in the realm of Class 6 to Class 10 of SD cards.
Then I could be totally wrong, too. :P

Judging by the size, it won't be that fast as in the OP cause those are SD cards... Vita memory is as small as MicroSD(HC) and you should compare it with that...

class 10 is the fastest out there:
