And fyi vette, it's the ebst option from my standpoint because I don't trust you. I could imagine there was a possibility of two 2-man teams, and because that possibility exists, I have to take the worst-case scenario. That precaution says not to do what you say.

You dont trust me because I have done everything I said I could do and saved your ass from a lynch?  Get real

Your scenario worked the same with either lynch suspect,  its just you trying to control the situation and you have it in your mind that it was the only wya when it wasnt.

ie; it's not about me controlling the situation, it's about making sure nobody has the ability to control it.
IE; the game SHOULD be over right now since mafia cannot win given this strategy. But since it is not, these are the automatic steps that would take place to resolve the game right now.
