Also, that has to be the shortest argument I've ever heard anybody put up in my history of playing this game. As a townie, when about to get lynched in past games, I gave it everything I had until the last second.

Actually, it is quite common for mafia to vote for their own members if they are about to get lynched. People feel it shows you aren't associated with them, when any player with a game or two of experience will often realize that somebody voting or not voting for a mafia member really means nothing.

Well we are pretty much invulnerable until the doc dies, and even then it's wifom on which one of us to kill.
Still left is me baal vette wonk radish spurge.
We mislynch and there are still 4 town.
We then still have a doc so he cant kill siblings, and has to pick between one of two of vette wonk radish spurge, depending on who is mafia and who we mislynch.
So, wonk seems like the right option for nightkill since hes confirmed so he definitely needs to be protected or at lrast an option. That forces mafia to kill either spurge vette or radish. Minus one for whoever we mislynch. Which would leave siblings wonk and one of those three alive. Then its endgame.
so speaking strategically, we should kill spurge since hes claimed, though vette is a good claik to test it will all come out in the end.
Lets vote guys cmon. Baal makes a great point that day protection doesnt make sense withiut daykilling mafia.

I realize that, but it has been allowed in the last two mafia games for the mafia to speak in a separate thread during the day, and it is very possible that is allowed this game as well. Whether or not this level of strategy is beyond you, if you are receiving guidance from somebody else, it wouldn't be beyond you.

Where to start? First off, not giving up after two posts. You are going to get mislynched a LOT in mafia (given that you continue playing in future games, which I would hope you do...somebody with your level of activity will be well appreciated in my opinion) if you simply give up after two posts of somebody not believing you.

Second, I want a well thought out response (I may have missed one) on why exactly you decided to use your one shot killing ability the second day, when we knew absolutely nothing (not a single person had died at that point) at that point in time. With a role such as that, you are not forced to use it (unless your role specifically states that you are). Why did you not wait until a future date when you either had a much higher chance of hitting a mafia member, or simply not use it at all if you didn't feel you had a good chance?

Third, why did you lie and say that you could use your killing role twice? What if Prof or I would have protected each other during the day to stop you from killing us due to this, and we were then killed during the night? I don't see how lying about the number of shots you had benefited you.
