So I was at Sam's Club the 2 days ago buying new tires for my car and decided to see if they had any games for sale that I was interested in (they are typically $5 under MSRP). They didn't have anything that i was interested in, but I noticed they had roughly 6-8 cardboard holders for 60GB units for $550. They had no other models of PS3 in stock, but who knows why since i don't really shop there that often.
Now I expect a lot of people calling me a fanboy or whatever and I couldn't care less and I'm not going to take photos of it, but i could if i wanted to.
But my question is, does this mean that Sony didn't reimburse companies during the price drop, or Sam's club is just greedy? Also, wouldn't it be better for Sam's Club to drop the price to like $450 to clear the inventory so they wouldn't have to pay for storage? I guess I really just can't understand why they didn't ship it off to walmart back when the originally fazed out the 60GB just so they could clear stock they are never going to sell since it is now such a ripoff.
