Forums - Sony - Got a PS3, never had a PS2....what games to get?

Okay I got a PS3 for my Xmas, I have never had a PS2 and the only PS2 game I have played is Buzz.

I got the 60Gb Euro model that IS PS2 compatible (to a certain degree).  Anyway, I would like to make a list of PS2 games that I should get, that really have to be played.

So far I have made this list:

ICO, Shasow of the Colossus, God of War, God of War 2, Okami, Resident Evil 4.

What else needs to be played or not missed?

Permanent pricedrop for both PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro in October.

PS4 Slim $249 (October 2017)

What's that supposed to mean?  What kind of behaviour are you talking about?  I have always made it known that I didn't have a PS3 and that I was more likely to get a PS3 moreso than any other machine.

Why ? Personally I'm not surprised at all. I've moved from PSP to PS3 too...

 i mean it seemed like you already owned a ps3 because of your little bias towards it. imo, you can't actually be pro some console unless you actually own it..

Definately the bolded games, those are some fine pieces of software that probably consumed over 100 hours of my life each.
