Famitsu Readers List Their Most Recommended PS3 Titles

Famtisu.com has shared the results of a survey where its readers voted for the top 50 recommended titles for the PS3.

While big PS3 exclusives developed by western studios made the list the number one title chosen shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Here are the top 10 choices:

10.Uncharted 2
9.NieR Replicant
8.Uncharted 3
7.Valkyria Chronicles
6.Tales of Xillia
5.Dark Souls
4.Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
3.Demon’s Souls
2.Tales of Vesperia
1. Final Fantasy XIII

Despite not making the top 10 the first Uncharted installment did manage to squeeze its way into the top 50. Other note worthy system exclusives making the list include Gran Tursimo 5, God of War III, MAG, Heavy Rain, White Knight Chronicles 2 and Little Big Planet 1 & 2.

Even though it hasn’t released anywhere yet, Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XIII-2 managed to secure a place in the top 50 as well.

Final Fantasy XIII at number one? Damn.

Perhaps this goes to show that those people on the interwebz who believe they speak for everyone, only speak for a small minority.

Being number 1 on this won't ever change the fact of how flawed the game is.

It depends person to person. Personally I don't believe XIII is flawed. It's different. Some people will accept and embrace, others will deny and push away and call it flawed.

Though if this survey is anything it shows that not everyone hates it, obviously.

That list is extremely similar to mine, if you remove Demon's Souls you have my top 3 games of the generation right there. Final Fantasy XIII, Tales of Vesperia and Metal Gear Solid 4.
