Forums - Nintendo - Vigil Talk Darksiders II, Wii U

Vigil Games talk up the ease of Wii U development, and reveal the mad rush to get Darksiders II running on the system for E3...

The folks over at Game Informer have released a video interview with the development team from Vigil Games - the studio developing the dark action-adventure Darksiders II.

Darksiders II was one the first third party games to be confirmed for Wii U at E3. The interview appears to have been conducted not too long after the June expo. In it, Vigil's David Adams and Colin Bonstead discuss the surprise of being asked to prep Darksiders II on Wii U for E3, the ease of developing for Nintendo's new system and some of the ideas being tossed around for new tablet-like controller.

It's good to know that the wii u is easy to develop for unlike the wii. Hopefully will see more games for it

Yeah, great to hear. The way they are talking about it, it seems to be reaaally easy to work on Wii U, which might become a strong point in terms of manpower, time and money while developing games for it!

The Wii was easy to develop for, developers simply refused to learn.
