OK in terms against oblivion how addictive would this game be?

Its more addictive than oblivion! The main quest is actually really interesting, the dragons the shouts etc. Not to mention theres all the other content that elder scrolls games have which we already know is very satisfying to do. Theres also more upgrading and better leveling perks and so on. And it doesnt suffer from most of the quirks Oblivion had, like funny animations and things like that.

All in all its a better game, more polished more compelling, and more addictive.

But if you only have 20 hours you should pass. In games like these it doesnt matter how much of experience you have in a rpg, they take time to gain momentum. It also takes time for a player to really become engrossed.

Edit: Forgot to add that if you expecting a game thats different from oblivion then you will be dissapointed, it stil very much feels and plays like oblivion, but at the same time different. Its hard to explain. So if you going for that awesome new game experience feeling then rather go for something else which you can gain full value from within 20 hours.

It is 3x better than Oblivion imo. Big jump on graphics, NPC interactions, Map interface is better, Voice actors are great as usual, the special killing blows animations, and some hilarious glitch.

get it. nuff said

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

well it looks like ill have to get it then Haha. ill prob get it tonight after I sleep. cheers for the info guys

buy on pc, the spec riqueried are not to much and it look a lot better and sharper then on console and also don't forget the mods

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Don't get it just yet. There's no multiplayer so wait until they release a Game of the Year Edition with all the DLC. You'll save money that way and still enjoy the full experience. If you're patient you can wait even longer for that to drop to the thirty dollar mark and pick up a used copy for twenty-five dollars or so.

rent its overhyped and boring imo

the whole waiting for it to come down in price in aus is a joke, ill be lucky to get it for 88 and I dont have the net so I don't care for multi player.

skyrim has already given me 80 hours of solid gameplay and i have only beaten the civil war and thieves guild quest lines.. there are so many side quest that its absurd.
the game is simplified but in a good way and perks + the civil war mean this game might be worth a 2nd play through
