I had completely forgotten about this. I'll be the first to admit i'm no big sonic fan, but despite generations positive reception, if they went turned the following into a game with gameplay based upon 3d adventuring (with 2d platforming sections).. Perhaps even open world/hubworld based .. In this setting, we would have a winner !

Many probably disagree with me, but i really like this darker sonic series over.. well anything else sonic :P

That's just my own opinion though... But in general i was never much into sonic :P.. I always have thought this version to be cool though.

Oh yeah I saw this but I forgot to reply

I know that cartoon, never liked it much, or Sonic Underground - - - I liked the the Sonic X series better, Sonic was all about 'cool' in the genesis days and Sonic X nailed it imo (It has an X in the title!). The "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" cartoon wasn't bad either (chili dogs ftw!)

I'm just glad SEGA's making good Sonic games now :)

Sonic X was trash and Sonic was loser in that anime. This is still the best Sonic show, but the games should never really go in that direction. They should never really be "dark." I like the cartoon as an interpretation of Sonic's world (back before there was any kind of fleshing out in the Genesis days), but in no way should it dictate what it's based on.
