Fact Checking Michelle Bachmann http://www.politifact.com/personalities/michele-bachmann/

From the article

True - 5
Mostly True - 2
Half True - 6
Mostly False- 7
False - 18
Pants on fire - 10

So explain to me how this was wrong?

Leaving aside the fact that PolitiFact isn't worth a fuck, I'm not especially bothered by someone thinking that Michele Bachmann is especially dishonest even for a politician. But this is both a chickenshit move and a stark example of the way people can bash conservative women, blacks, etc., in ways that would be seen as sexist or racist if they did it to anyone else.

BS the media allows the conservatives (doesnt matter women, blacks, whatever) tell out and out lies and they are rarely rarely called on it.

Pretty sure that if I ever go to a left-leaning media website, they consistently do that. I saw dozens of articles attacking Bachmann after she made some crazy HPV claim against Perry in a debate.

If you care to talk about the mandatory HPV vaccinations in Texas due to Perry then I am up for it.  I don't know what you are mentioning since I haven't paid attention to the media or the Republican debates.  However, I live in Texas right now and I have a big problem with the bs mandatory vaccines.  For one these vaccines produced by Merck were barely tested and the studies probably questionable before they passed this.  The drug had little testing and there were even deaths reported from the vaccine.  Do you think Perry had the interest of people that live in Texas at heart when he signed it into law or do you think he had Merck giving him a pat on the back?  Sure lets approve mandatory vaccinations for a drug that isn't proven.  Sounds like sound science to me..  Although I don't think the FDA is capable of sound science considering most of them are in the pocket book of the pharmaceutical industries.

That's all fine and well. I have serious problems with it myself, but Bachmann made some pretty wild accusations about the vaccine causing mental retardation based on a conversation she had with one (1) voter.

The point was that Bachmann went after Perry on the HPV vaccinations at the debate - something I totally agree with. However, the issue was that she started making claims that the vaccines had resulted in mental retardation and other such problems, which was totally unverifiable, and she got in a LOT of trouble over that in the media. Thus my argument that the media did hold her feet to the flames in regards to that. Her polling dropped like a rock once that came out.
