Playing the game up to this point I was pretty happy with it and loving the game, but after spending 2 hours playing the same 2-3 minutes of content over and over and over again with hair-trigger auto-lose conditions and not a single hint or sniff of victory I have uninstalled the game and likely won't re-install it again...

For those wondering what I am talking about: You are about to be killed along with your family in a construction yard somewhere in Japan and when they shoot your wife (ex?) you go apeshit and kill them...then you fight off the onslaught of bad gays..no troubles so far...after 3 or 4 waves of bad guys they retreat and there is a cutscene where you talk to your daughter who doesn't actually talk to you...then a gigantic F'ing dump truck comes blazing through bent on running your ass over...so far so good.....

Ok well taking out the two guys on the back? Easy...taking out the 3 guys on the front? simple and doable but takes a bit more aim. Taking out the driver (mission objective) who is apparently behind bullet proof safety glass? downright impossible

I have tried following it up the hill and blasting the window at point blank range, unloading 3 or 4 clips on it before it decides I lose for no apparent reason....I've tried standing on the van at the window height and again unloading 2 clips into it...nothing...I've tried blasting the "passenger" side window from ground shoot across the entire truck. I've tried shooting tires or vital spots on the truck..I've tried blowing up cars as it goes by (no luck at all) ..I've tried climbing the ladder when it does a 2 point turn to get on the truck...apparently touching a ladder is instant death...

This whole process is made all the more frustrating by the constant restarts, not just the fact that you are restarting but how they restart and why. Your daughter is down in a hole they were planning to bury you in and the dump truck is trying to get one of its wheels into the hole to squish her....and you if you stay in there...and sometimes it does this on the second pass and sometimes it does this on the third pass...sometimes it decides after the second pass but well before the third pass that its just going to end it and restarts for no apparent reason, sometimes it lets me run next to the truck and shoot at the windows (again with no apparent effect) and sometimes it decides that running next to a truck is deadly.

But the most annoying part is that each time you restart you are greeted with a cutscene...and the cutscene is only partially skippable...which I don't get...why the hell do you make it so you can skip only 2/3rds of the cutscene??? Why can't I skip all of the cutscene? Whatever the reason I was forced to sit through it...each and every god damn time.

I've also looked up FAQs and guides and walkthroughs (something I loathe to do) and every strategy imagineable has failed completely and utterly. I haven't even gotten the glass to shatter much less a legit shot off at the guy. And when taking a break I realized...I don't even care anymore...I have gone from excited about the game to "couldn't care less" in 2 hours of painfully excruciating gameplay....and I'm sort of at peace now that I have ranted about it....

so thanks for listening to my rant..even though 99.99% of you didn't =)

I guess not...the demo had enough problems for me, and reviewers didn't like it.  I did lik the healing element with a whole party of people, though...

I never knew anyone was going to buy this game, i was looking forward to it, but after playing the demo i was about to kill myself it was that bad. Anyways i hope you get past this part.

Just focus on the driver. The glass is very tough to crack, but it can be done. What I find frustrating is getting out of the Asian club with the owner - twice.

I spent roughly two hours on the dump truck mission. I wish Jennie would move, but ...

Seriously, after nailing the driver, the truck stops and the gunmen disappear.

I went through this same problem, just get the machine gun and blast the hell out of one window (front or side) if you aim at the same window then its easier but still depressingly hard and frustrating.

They spent the money for playtesting on buying reviews instead.

Well at least I'm not the only one who had a problem with that section...oddly enough I actually had no problems with the night club I just stayed up on the catwalk until I had all the guys below killed and then I moved up slowly taking out anyone with a flashlight. Although when I had to take her back out the exact same way again I kept thinking "why the hell can't I just go back out through the damn window?
