It's time to update the rumored Xbox specs again!! The rumor going around says it has 8 g of RAM - pictures have even surfaced. I'm on the phone so I can't be bothered to post a Link, but head over to ign.com for the rumors and pictures.

Since this is the devkit it doesnt sound that absured for it to have 8 or more gigs of ram since devkits usually have twice the ram of the retail release in order to accomedate debugging tools.

4/6 gigs of ram probably and I believe 4 is definitely possible. The bigger problem with the article is MS choosing to work with Nvidia, the guys who screwd them over with the original xbox but I guess its plausible since MS is using Nvidia chips in their surface tablets. Not to mention B/C being problematic. Its very unlikely for MS to choose Nvidia and Intel over IBM and AMD.

@ Google: I agree; 4GB seems more plausible alright - but that would still be twice the RAM as WiiU supposedly has, wouldn't it? Perhaps it'll go to the integrated kinect the nextbox will have? As for your discussion about which card they'll use, I'm sure you're right - I don't have a clue :p

You'd need 16 chips @ 4Gb to do that. I would personally say that is likely doable as they likely intend to transition to stacked memory anyway.
