Actually, by my definition above... PS4 is 5.5x more powerful than WiiU and about 8x more powerful than PS3. (all estimates of course)
Keep in mind there is a lot more difference between the generations than raw power. There is a slew of technologies and base architecture.

No by your definition PS4 is 6x Wii U.

Ah yeah you're right lol.
5 * 4 = 20 * 1.5 = 30 QED
Point is WiiU is 4-6x less powerful than MSony.
PS360 are about 8x less powerful than their respective successors.
For comparison sake, Wii was closer to 15x to 20x less powerful than PS360.

Nope. Now it seems like instead of raw power/tech... it will be based around DRM policies. At least those Nintendo can rectify via Software updates if it proves to be an issue for 3rd parties.

While I hate the idea of no used games ... this particular solution at least still makes it possible and all in all, a used game should still be cheaper. So, in reality I'd hope Nintendo can patch this in so even EA will come back to the fold. I'm sure its not only EA that is barking at Nintendo with this issue.
The rumors are right... and the people things MS will change the specs in two or three months... lol

I... I don't quite understand what used games has to do with this? I'm pretty sure PS4 won't block used games, so I don't think that's the beef between EA and Nintendo, because then Ea would have a beef with Sony as well...

It absolutely is and Sony absolutely will have the same DRM system in place as MS.
Only difference is exactly as Sony already confirmed back in Feb/Mar, it will be based on the publishers decision whereas MS turned it on by default.
