Forums - Sony - Ps3 transfer question

I have just bought a new ps3 and when i go to use the data transfer utility it says that it will wipe all the info off the old ps3. Is there any way to copy the data across without losing all the games, etc on the old ps3.

I do not have an external hard drive.

Around the Network

There's a network transfer. You plug your PS3s together with an ethernet cable and you perform the transfer. It deactivates the old PS3 and transfers everything over. You can then reactivate your old PS3.

It doesn't wipe anything.
