Forums - Sony - Sony assures us that Sorcery isn't dead.

Remember Sorcery? The PS Move exclusive game from E3 2010 that looked interesting. We haven't heard anything since then. According to IGN, Sony's Eric Levine says that we will hear more about Sorcery soon.

Today, we can report that Sorcery is still in development, and better yet, we'll be seeing more about it soon. Speaking with IGN, Sony's Eric Levine told us that "Yes, Sorcery is still in development and we're very excited to show everyone how this PlayStation Move exclusive game is coming along." Better yet, Sorcery will be fully playable at Sony's Holiday Showcase in New York City this December, where we'll be able to provide you with our very first hands-on impressions.

It did look pretty interesting. Considering how long it's been since we've seen or heard anything, I wonder how different it will be.

It's nice to hear. It was the best looking Move game imo.

I think they are leaving this for next years holiday season which might see a nice price cut for Move (and who knows maybe even ps3 tho I doubt that one)

About time, I guess they are making sure the game is 100% before releasing it.

Thank goodness. This games looks really good. Love the different ways it found to use the Move. It will probably end up a great game, which means IGN will give it a 7.

Oh thank god. For some reason I was afraid that the Medieval Moves game was what Sorcery had turned into. I'm very much excited about this title and if it's executed right I think it could be a big hit. :)

I had the same fear.  It does look like Medieval Moves borrowed a few things from the game, so it was a natural conclusion.

@ MUGEN

Actually you're probably spot on with both of those.  Move will be having its 2 year Anniversary in Sept '12, so a great time for Sony to announce a price cut.  I would imagine one of $10-$15 for both controllers, $34.99-$39.99 for the Move and $14.99-$19.99 for the Nav.  I also see Sony having a PS3 cut to $199-$219 around the same time to combat the Wii U launch.

another long delayed sony game...
