Some have suggested that Russia could detonate a tactical EMP over the United States wiping out all electronic devices in the country and sending it to the stone age, then invade. Problem is the United States also has tactical EMP's and would retaliate quickly knocking Russia into the stone age. The following rain of EMP's would send the whole world into chaos with China , India and all the other military powers plunging into darkness.

Others have said viral warfare might occur, terrorists might resort to viral warfare. But none of the major Governments will resort to this. Mainly because the US Government has claimed they have a virus capable of wiping out up to 90% of the worlds population in a matter of months, Russia claims to have similar viruses. Both countries have the antedotes to their specific virus. Essentially the US could vaccinate its citizens against the virus they unleash, but Russia would vaccinate its citizens against its virus. But each others viruses would wipe them off the map.

I don't think WW3 could drastically change the worlds outlook. Without the whole planet falling to peices a WW3 could not see Nato, China, India or Russia fall. The whole world would suffer and very little would change except millions possibly a billion could die. In the end other countries like Japan, Taiwan, Australia almost any country in the Middle East would all fall or be captured or defeated during the next global war.

But as I said I don't think Russia, China, Nato or India will do anything that they think might destroy the whole world. I think Nukes, EMP's and viral weapons will prevent any of them from truly being considered the victor or loser. The countries that will lose are all the smaller countries who get caught in the cross fire.

I used to watch the Military Channel every day from when I got home to about 2AM. I was obsessed with the military capabilities of the world. The Military channel of course pretty much bragged about America's powerful military but it was very interesting. A program I watched was made to re-assure the American people and such that Russia couldn't wipe the US out with a viral attack, it stated that the US had a viral weapon that could take out the majority of the worlds population in a matter of months. They said if Russia used a viral weapon the United States would respond. The program had an interview with some soldier or commander not clear of rank, but he stated that the US's viral capabilities served as a deterrent to any aggressor.

Same channel had the program about the EMP, stating that the US had a contingency plan and that retaliation would be swift. It also said the US Government's plan would restore order within 8 months or so of being attacked and that the National Guard had some EMP proof vehicles and that their was a national defence base that was EMP proof. The program re-assured viewers that the United States would be more then capable of dealing with the threat of an EMP war.

Unfortunately I no longer have the military channel, I lost it a little over a year ago so I don't know how much the US has improved its counter measures and weapons capabilities.

Also if the US openly talks about these capabilities on television you have to wonder what they are truly capable of if they were actually backed into a corner. If you think cornering a wolf could get ugly this is like cornering a super sayan!

One thing I did note from the military channel is they always gave out  false information in regards to what they are actually capable of. Example they said back when I watched the show that the F22 wouldn't enter service till like 2010 or so. But that same year F-22's were snapped to Japan even though according to the US they weren't in service. Often they would show case a weapon as being in development for future conflicts but in reality the weapon was already in distribution and the US had them in the field long before they actually acknowledged them.

In other words if the US says they have a weapon r capability already ready for action in the field. You better take them seriously in fact if they had said "We will have this weapon in service 2015" you'd have to be skeptical as to whether that weapon might already be in the field or in the field within a year or two. The US is purposely humble when it comes to technological announcements , they want their opponents to fear them but at the same time not be aware as to the US's actually military capabilities!

I've never been able to read Joecool posts. I never participate in his threads. But now he is making me hate all the threads he posts in. Is annoying.

On topic: A WW3 won't be happening anytime soon, in my eyes. All the countries have to much to lose. Plus I doubt USA and china would get in a war between them, nor as allies. Without them, today a war couldn't be called "World War"

India is the only country where ahimsa - nonviolence is a fundamental part of their cultural heritage.

It goes agains the religion and everything Gandhi achieved.

Not to mention it goes against prophecy

Umm India has been involved in some bloody conflicts both inside their own country and fighting outside countries. They are far from a peaceful country. If India doesn't fight then when Pakistan finally goes awol on them they are screwed because those Pakistani's will take the crap out of India if they don't put up a fight.

Also I don't live in India. But the indian immigrants in my city hate one another with a passion. The Hindu's absolutely despise the Sihks and I had to intervene as a Hindu kid was getting beat to a bloody pulp. The muslims from India here hate both the Hindu's and the Sihk's then a while back their was a few terrorist attacks from Indian terrorists.

Right now the Indian Government says terrorism is a huge threat and they are constantly accusing Pakistan of savatouge and trying to provoke a war. So yes India will most definitly go to war if another World War breaks out and it will likely be one of the more bloody conflicts.

Yah I know, also its funny people still see the need to point this out. I am very well aware of the issue my feelings aren't hurt at all actually. Plus so many of those who say they avoid my threads show up in my threads more then those who actually support me. Funny.
