From my understanding of it this is only in the browser and the current version will still be supported with security updates and critical fixes. Technically, apps (and devs) that utilise Flash will still be supported by Adobe.
Whats wrong with flash on mobile devices? It works fine on my android I am able to view any website i want basically or am I missing something?

Funny thing is WP7 is getting a 3rd party browser app that allows for flash to be viewed, like next week. MetroBrowser will allow for FLV playback on all major flash video streaming sites. I beta tested it and it works great...
