One wonders what the implications are if certain Christians believe that animals are capable of sin. The classical interpretation has been that animals are just that, animals, and if they can commit sins and therefore have souls, then a great deal of what we do to them in the name of food and science is grossly unethical

This is disgusting. I'm quite tired of these christian groups.
This thread's title is a tad overdramatic though. When I first read it I imagined someone wanted to lynch the penguins (which made me think this was taking place in Iran, or Southern US).
