I don't think he's talking about toon violence. How many people have been hospitalised because of the Sonic spin attack?

On the other hand though, he made the Odyssey. Did anyone see the gun on that console?!

@Bolded

None they all died. You can't survive a spin attack. No one can.

I agree with what he says.

Not that I hate violent games, I'm picking up MW3 in the coming days, I just hate developers that create games just for the violence and people who buy games just for the violence, even if the game is terrible.

i think those people are few and far inbetween

Not really, most of those games I was referring to have sold into the millions or hundreds of thousands at least.

As for the people who buy the games, how many people buy Call of Duty simply because they find it amusing to shoot people in the face? Millions.

true, but its not like IW or Treyarch are making violent games just for the fuck of being violent. I honestly dont think most devs are, sure you will run into your Suda's and MK teams

Eeesh, my points are all over the place, I'll re-word everything I just said.

I definitely don't think IW or Treyarch make violent games for the sake of it, I consider myself a Call of Duty fan and I can see far more substance in their games. When I referred to developers making violent games for the sake of it, I meant developers who make extremely weak games that are usually poor clones of Call of Duty and Battlefield and they expect the games to sell purely because they are violent. As for people who buy violent games just because they are violent, these people are the ones who buy the Call of Duty and Battlefield clones and also the people who buy games like Call of Duty just for the violence, not anything else.

And those devs and people who support them are strange people, but its like that for just about every form of entertainment

Every entertainment medium needs mature rated content to appeal to all demographics.

Take out the violent parts and you got a kiddie/family friendly medium, and that just alienates everybody else.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

...um, this was a major peripheral for the magnavox, the first light gun for consoles
