Hit detection is indeed a trillion times better and I addressed most of the issues he pointed out in a previous post, a lot of which are redundant.

One important thing people seem to be missing out here is that the weapons now may have less recoil than BO using the kick proficiency, but they now have idle sway, so if you are holding still your weapon to take someone out long distance, your weapon will sway and put it off target. As I said before this can be reduced using the focus proficiency but then you'll have to deal with more recoil, so its somewhat balanced.

And yes most of the maps I played are very close quarters-medium catering towards assault rifle/sub machine gun. The snipers from what I can see have received a boost even beyond MW2. I know that sounds scary, but I think the map sizes are what is going to make snipers harder to use as I there seem to be not that many long range maps. But still quickscoping could become an annoyance.

Oh and explosives such as noobtubes are pretty much useless, you'll either have to hit the guy in the face or drop in right on his feet to get a 1 hit kill with it and this is without blast shield, so no worries there.

I don't understand all the complaints for online in blops, for the past 7months i can count the amount of crazy lag games on one hand, hit detection was off but never really lag.

Now MW2 atleast 70% of the games lagged whenever i went and played it after blops was out.

MW3 still installing been about 15-20 mins so far :(

If it has better hit detection and latency It's already better then Black Ops.

I would never get rid of Black Ops though because I spent a bit on the Zombie portion.

Yes hit detection is definitely better, no doubts, no questions asked. Oh and I also bought the zombie pack for BO, so I'd never throw that away either, I normally keep my games anyway.

Yes survival and mission based spec ops are capped at 2 player, but keep in mind that they were made for a 2 player experience. And yes there is HD video playback when you download the free call of duty elite app that comes with the game. Theater mode returns just like in BO and you can even post HD clips on youtube, etc.

Im looking forward to the campaign i thought Black Ops was pretty weak actually. Hopefully 2 hours from now i'll be about to get it.

I wish amazon had a $20 credit like they did last year for BO or I probably would have gotten it. *sigh* It's probably for the best since I'm totally broke now too, but I'll get later.

Well i just got it from BestBuy for £30, sure was busy in there.

Beat the SP and it was pretty bad, worst in the series.

I then went online to play domination for the last few hours and i can say its by far the worst. All the maps so far have been trash, they are just total clusterfucks with everyone spawning randomly. None of the maps have any flow to them it all just appears to be random stuff tossed around. The lag is crazy, 80% of my deaths are due to enemies having some crazy lag advantage or just sitting in corners waiting to soundwhore you.

its a solid FPS, which is better than BF3 by a long mile. the campaign is magnificent, the multiplayer is amazing which makes BF3 MP nothing but a pure childs play.
COD elite is worth every penny.
for those who have BF3, sell it and get MW3.

Yea Best Buy were quite cheap, I got mine for £30 as well from Tescos at midnight. It was a friggin riot, like a few thousand people were queing up lol, we got ours early though.
