Forums - Nintendo - Viz spoils us with Zelda celebratory tribute!

Well Viz Media to pay tribute to The Legend Of Zelda to help us celebrate its 25th Anniversary has just released the whole manga comic collection together. You can pick up your 25th Anniversary Legend Of Zelda Manga Box set at all major book retailers. The Manga series for Legend Of Zelda got launched back in 1998 in Japan. The Manga series was hugely popular in Japan but only came to North America in the last few years. They are hard to find and a cherished jewel for Zelda fans. The box set includes almost all of the Legend Of Zelda manga comics released to date following our hero through most of the major games he has starred in to date. These include the Manga comics covering A Link To The Past, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, The Minish Cap, Four Swords, Oracle of Seasons, and The Phantom Hourglass. Of course the Box set also comes with a limited edition full colour poster to hang on your wall and remind you of the greatest anniversary in adventure game history. Viva la Hyrule!

If you want to purchase the box set it only costs 69.99$ but do so quickly because their is no word on how long they will be on shelves or how many copies will be sold. Will the deal end at the end of 2011? I mean it is a celebratory 25th Anniversary product it would be perfectly reasonable for them to stop producing and selling it after the anniversary is over!

You can find the box set on Amazon right now on sale for only 44$ here! Or Canadian buyers can also get it on sale for only 53$ at Indigo here! Or of course you could locate it in any major book store. This could be the perfect gift for any Hyrule loving Zelda junky in your family or amongst your friends!

I already own them all individually, but I would buy this if I didn't

I was only aware that a manga had been done for Ocarina of Time

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Nice, but I'll just stick to the games.

How come I dont have any of those yet?... Buying it as of we speak!

Never even knew they existed! That is real cool! Are you gonna get it joel?

I am debating buying it as a Christmas gift for someone. For myself not likely, its not that I don't love Zelda but I haven't read comics in a very long time. I hate reading novels and such I always prefer watching the movies or listening to audio versions as I think they are more informative in many cases.

In a two hour documentary based on a book I learn almost everything their is to know about that book. I watched God Dillusion and went to a book group that a friend attended and they talked about it. I was able to hold my own and reference the book and Richard Dawkins without even openning the book.

Fact is the amount of information and the speed in which you absorb it is just so much faster with film.

So having not really read many comics lately I am not sure I would find the time for this one. I spend most of my time that I am not utterily busy playing video games, watching movies/tvshows and chatting on VGChartz. Reading a comic series would be difficult to fit in not to mention due to finances I can't justify such a large purchase at the moment! But I have a friend who burns through manga like a forest fire through gasoline. He buys at least 5-6 Manga books a week from OnePeace to Naruto and I know he loves Manga a lot. I also know he is a huge Zelda fan.
