In a Gamasutra-attended conference call, EA CEO John Riccitiello announced that the company's major first person shooter Battlefield 3 has shipped more than 10 million units since its launch earlier this week. 

Anyone think this is a little too much? Can BF3 really sell those 10million on launch week? In a month?

Uhm yeah this is combined all platforms. And everywhere I've been that sells games has been sold out. PS3 and 360. I got the 2nd to last copy from Walmart on launch day.

We'll see when VGchartz posts their numbers next week.

Umm this thread topic...

Tthats what was shipped..not what has been sold. a company can say they shipped out 10 million units but only sold 5 million.  We wont know how many were shipped till next week..and even still..i dont think VGChartz tranks online sales through Origin and Amazon.

What are you going off about? There was already a thread about this exact topic. I'm not talking about anything else.

you were replying to vgkings question about how the 1st week sales will be? Because I thought you were saying that the 1s week sales had be released already and were posted.

No I was simply saying someone else on the forums already made this exact thread with that news.
