I really hate these awfully compressed low res comparisors. Just wait for digital foundry face off. That tells the truth. (PC of course wins but which one of the console versions is better)
That one does.
Atto Suggests...:
Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series
Game - Metro Last Light
TV - Deadwood
Music - Forest Swords

this...all three platforms are great IMO tho
well they snuck in a PC comparison but it seems as usual the 360 version was brighter in some areas. the PS3 version was darker and had better lighting in some areas. and the PC version was consistent except in its 360 PC comparison when the character got out the car and looked at the ground and there was little to no detail.
in the end they all had there flaws but look the same. if i had to give a slight edge i'd give it to PS3 because the PC version shouldn't look the same as the console version and the 360 version had objects that looked to bright when climbing the ladder of the the plan not having much tone or the look of realism.
PC >>> PS3 > 360
Its really pretty simple. But the 360 must have that optional texture download or the difference is very noticeable.
Of course the PC version destroys the consoles. But as for the console versions let's just wait for the DF & LOT face off. However from the info I've gathered it seems out of the two console versions the PS3 tends to have more aggressive lighting while for it's part the 360 streams in textures quicker and tears less but then again I've read reports the 360 version stutters more. The lighting is dynamic so screen shot comparisons are difficult to get spot on equally. Will be an interesting H2H.

It is worth pointing out developers usually can't back up their claims of the 'superior' PS3 version (Bioshock, RAGE and Crysis 2 spring to mind) and previous game engines by DICE have all performed better on the 360. In fact most multi-platform games tend to be slightly better on the 360 even if in most cases the advantages are too minor to be picked up by the average gamer. The main reason being games tend to be 360 led or porting PC to 360 is easier.

Ha ha, THIS, particularly the nobody gives a fuck part.
I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.
