Microsoft's next Xbox Live dashboard update will land next week, according to a new report.

Tech Site Win Rumours is the source of the claim (via OXM) - and has also published a video showing off the revamped Xbox interface's Windows Phone integration and Kinect features.

It was previously rumoured that the dashboard update would release on November 15 and apublic beta launched in September.

Alongside new Kinect functions, the redesign is set to add more Facebook integration and the promised cloud data storage functionality.

Microsoft's official philosophy for the new dash is "all the entertainment you want, with the people you care about, made easy." See it in action here.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

someone was in the beta? I remember that like a month ago we had a thread about it where you could sign yourself in for the beta...Got no answer sadly.

Last time I had issues with at least one of my consoles because of the update though. I hope that's not the issue this time.

If you registered for the BETA you are most likely in it.  I haven't met anyone yet who signed up and didn't get in.  I think they just let everyone in.  I would like to know if i'm wrong about that though.

They did not send out a notification:

1. you go to connect. -> http://connect.microsoft.com/

2. log in

3. On the drop down to the upper right click and select 'xbox live update' if you have it

4. You should then see a message that says Welcome to the xbox live update program!

The beta hasn't even rolled out yet and won't be rolled out until sometime next week, so this information is inaccurate.
