The 2 Nokia windows phones are pure sex. I don't care for "oh me gee.. no dual core!", this thing is fast!

For now I'll stick to my iPhone but I will surely consider it the app market is big enough, which is happening soon.

I agree with that first point. It might be helpful in the future, but for now, the battery is more important, especially as Windows Mobile doesn't really do multitasking

I really really love the look, especially with the bright colours, which really does make them stand out from the smartphone crowd. However, I am basically stuck with Android, as I use Google for everything, so getting a M$ phone seems a little silly. I also didn't like the look of Nokia maps, google maps, one of my favourite features on my phone and tablet, seems far better

So basically, I think that they have done a great job designing them, but it is still Windows Phone, and I would rather have a nice new Android phone made by Sony now!

It does to Mutlitasking with mango. Howeer it still chokes the app and it doesn't run...just freezes so you can continue when you're ready to go back to it. But I've installed a 3rd party app which gives it true multitasking when needed (and kills the battery faster much like android devices). So it can be done...

Everything else you said is a valid personal opinion and preference.

Sorry, that is what I meant about multitasking, it does it in such a way that you don't get any benfit from the dual cores. I was not trying to criticse it, just support the specs of the phone, as I do think it has great hardware

Oh I understood what you meant. I was trying to imply that dual core will be needed soon. :)

While the OS is butter smooth with single core... apps, hacks, homebrew and true multitasking and games really could benefit from a dual core cpu. And the WP7 homebrew speed is picking up speed. Soon every device will be able to be legally unlocked for homebrew deployment quite easily for 9 bucks with CheveronWP7 Labs.

Around the Network

Those are pretty nice phones. I won't be upgrading Windows phones for about 2 years though (when my contract ends) I have the HTC HD7 and it is an awesome phone.

I have a Trophy on Verizon and have decided to wait for Apollo (aka WP8) devices from Nokia. My biggest issues with WP (and they are few) won't be satisfied by a Nokia device (with the exception of voice nav) and overall I'm still quite enjoying the it. It has DEFINITELY made my life and work much more efficient and thus has been worth the money.

Well things they have been saying are suggesting that they will expand their line-up before too long, and also rumours of Windows Phone 8 "Apollo" coming mid-2012, so I think that is when the enhancements will come (and there are rumours it will be influenced by Nokia)

I didn't realise that there was a large homebrew scene, then again, I still haven't really understood Windows Phone 7, it looks nice, but it just works differently to the other OSs, which is great, but confusing! And what degree of homebrew are we talking here?
